A homicide investigation is currently ongoing after a man was shot and killed in east Charlotte.
It occurred on Sunday at Faires Road near the Plaza Road Extension around 11 A.M. CMPD and Medics arrived at the scene and discovered a male with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the site by a medic. When they got there, officials discovered a man with an apparent gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead by medics on the site. Police did not explain what prompted the shooting or whether they had any suspects.
